What To Look For In Large Women's Shoes

There are so many women's shoes to choose from now. There are no longer simple flats and heels to choose from any longer. Now there are boots with and without heels or that have platforms on the bottom. There are sandals that have heels, platforms, stilettos, wedges and more. You have an array of flats to choose from too, from slip on sling backs and mules to ballet slippers and Mary Janes also. The options are endless when it comes to the color choices and patterns that are available as well. Choose from solid colors, metallics, patterns such as flowers, skulls and butterflies, as well as women's shoes with gems, beads, fringe, ruffles, bows and more. So how do you determine which shoes to buy or what to look for in women's shoes? When buying large size women's shoes, no matter what kind or style they are, what you should look for in large women's shoes is: Solid stitching. When there is double stitching around the edges and in the high wear areas, the shoe will last longer. Look for lose threads or areas that seem to already be worn. They will most likely fall apart sooner. There should be double stitching on buckles, laces, around edges and seems and around the area where the material meets the sole too. Sturdy material that the shoe is made of. This includes leathers, suedes, cloth and canvas too. The more sturdy the material the better, they will last longer. However, look closely at the material to make sure that there is not wore spots or areas where the stitching looks weak. There should be no glues used, unless in combination with the stitching for added reinforcement. Glues fall apart and can easily lose their adhesiveness with temperature changes. Glue also can be pulled apart easily. Make sure the shoe is sewn and durable materials are used, even when furs, satin and lace are used with the construction of the shoe. Look closely at the sole of the shoe. Thin soles may look stylish, but they will wear quickly and fall apart. The sole should be a sturdy rubber sole that is non slip as well. Look closely at how it is attached as well. Glues to attach the sole is fine when there is stitching and other more durable materials used to attach it as well. The sole should have some gripping to it also, in the form of groves and indents, instead of just being completely flat and smooth. Make sure that buckles and laces are attached securely and are not lose in any way. As well as look at the buckle holes to buckles a sandal. Many times the hole will not go all the way through the leather and you will end up tearing the buckle trying to get the clasp through the hole. No matter what type of large women's shoes you are buying, look closely at how they are made and the materials that are used too, to ensure that they are long lasting and will not fall apart easily. Large shoes for women are available and they are just as stylish and comfortable as any other shoe available.
