Canon EF 70-300mm USM Lens r/4-5.6 IS for Canon Cameras That Are EOS SLR

Canon, USM Lens, EOS, SLR, Canon Cameras Description: The Canon EF 70-300mm is made with beginner photographers in mind that want to take action and nature shots. There is an image stabilizer that helps to reduce blurring of images because of the camera moving. The EF 70-300mm has a f/4-5.6 IS USM on it, which is the latest technology in 3 stop IS. The shutter speeds are up to three stops slower than what usually takes place and there is no increased fuzziness or blurring that takes place. There are are also gyro sensors that help to detect any vibrations in the lens. This creates a trigger that will correspond with the movement of the lens to ensure tha the lens groups are always perpendicular according to the optical axis in the lens. The light path is than altered and the image is always in the correct position. There is 2 mode IS that shoots better immobile objects. Using mode 1 will stabilize the shoot on the vertical and horizontal axises. While mode 2 will shut off the correction that could happen in the direction you are shooting. This creates an effect of dragging the object instead and back into the frame. Also, when you mount the lens on a tripod, the IS is automatically turned off. The auto focus is controlled by the micro USM motor that allows for ultra sonic vibrations with high speed changes. The stops are precise and accurate and the focus is correctly found each time. The zoom ring can be locked for wide angle shots. This keeps the lens very compact and easy to store when transporting. If you want to catch an image with a large aperture, you will be able to do so with the EMD circular aperture. The lens has a super spectra coating and the lens has been shaped too. One of our customers, David Vandevoorde, purchased this as a replacement for an older lens that his wife had for her camera. They loved their old lens, but could not pictures easily from fall distances. However, with the new lens has the stabilization feature and they found the images are very sharp and clear. He also found it to be very fast and he found the price very reasonable for all the features that it has. Another customer, Deluxe, who also purchased this lens found that as they got closer to 300mm the images became worse and worse. They also felt that the focus speed was slow and took too long to obtain the area they were looking for. Furthermore, they found that the lens moves with everything that is done to it and gets larger with each movement. However, they do enjoy the IS feature and feel this is the best benefit of the lens. Product Features: 3 stop image stabilizer Camera shake is reduced Has USM There is an electro magnetic diaphragm Has a super spectra lens coating.
